About The Opportunity
We are looking for a university student or recent graduate who is interested in software quality, automation and building reliable technology products.
You will work alongside an experienced team to help develop automated approaches to testing, using code and modern tools to ensure products and platforms remain reliable as new functionality is released.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has developed technical skills through university, personal projects, internships or hackathons and wants to build experience in quality engineering, software testing automation or software engineering.
What you’ll be doing

You may currently be studying or have recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
Ideally, You Will Have
Commitment: Approximately 15+ hours per week
Initial engagement: 4–8 week project sprint, with potential for further work
Indicative commencement: September/October

What you’ll be doing
You May Be Involved In
- Building automated tests for software products and features.
- Developing code and tools that enable testing to operate at scale.
- Helping create automated testing frameworks and processes.
- Testing APIs, backend services and user-facing product features.
- Identifying defects, reliability issues and potential points of failure.
- Working with developers to understand new features and how they should be tested.
- Supporting regression testing as products and platforms evolve.
- Exploring how AI can improve testing, quality assurance and defect identification.
- Helping improve the overall reliability and quality of technology products.
You may currently be studying or have recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
Ideally, You Will Have
- Programming or scripting experience.
- An interest in software engineering, automation and product quality.
- Some knowledge of software testing concepts.
- Exposure to automated testing tools or frameworks through university, personal projects, hackathons or internships.
- An understanding of APIs, web applications or software development practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and a mindset focused on finding and preventing problems.
- The ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively as part of a team.
