Hutly is on a mission to make real estate transactions more transparent, efficient, and human. As our Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building and scaling the platform that powers Australia’s leading property contract, data, and payments solutions — including ADL Forms, VicForms, Bondable, and Property Data Online.

What you’ll do:

• Maintain and extend our core technology platform
• Build scalable, production-grade features in Node.js
• Contribute to architectural decisions and roadmap discussions
• Mentor developers and support offshore team collaboration
• Improve database performance and CI/CD pipelines

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years of backend/full-stack development experience
• Deep expertise in Node.js, plus experience with React.js and Next.js
• Strong SQL/NoSQL knowledge (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Ability to mentor and support distributed teams
• Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivery

Bonus Points For:

• Java experience
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, CI/CD
• Background in real estate or fintech
