About The Role
Join an Aussie fintech success story! As part of our Global Marketing team, you’ll spearhead PR and stakeholder engagement efforts that resonate with our audience and amplify InDebted's challenger brand narrative. Based in Sydney, you’ll craft and execute multinational communications strategies, drive earned media initiatives, and build relationships with key journalists across our operational markets.
You'll collaborate closely with our London VP and US teams, embracing a flexible approach to time zones. Your role includes advising executives, preparing impactful speaking briefs, and establishing strategic partnerships with relevant non-profits. Plus, you’ll identify opportunities to showcase our customer-centric values through awards, events, and targeted initiatives.

About You
- 3-5 years experience in Public Relations, Brand and Communications, either in-house or agency within startup, fintech/ tech
- Track record of identifying, building and delivering brand and communications initiatives that drive business impact
- Exceptional communication and writing skills - you pride yourself on your ability to translate complex messages into engaging, impactful narratives that speak directly to your audience and organisational goals
- Strong media relationships with top-tier AU journalists in technology/business media outlets, with the ability to build new ones in other regions
- Multinational media exposure highly beneficial - particularly within UK & US markets
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end communications planning for high profile announcements, plus exposure to issues management or sensitive topics
- Strong brand and design intelligence - while you certainly don’t have to be a graphic designer, you know how to give visual communication direction and aren’t afraid to get stuck into tools such as Canva and Figma every now and then
