About Inventia Life Science
Inventia Life Science develops technologies that help researchers create reproducible, scalable, and biologically relevant 3D cell models for drug discovery and disease research.
Our RASTRUM platform is used by pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology businesses, academic laboratories, and research organizations to investigate complex biology, evaluate potential therapies, and generate more informative data earlier in the research process.
About the role
Inventia Life Science is seeking a scientifically fluent life science marketer with exceptional writing skills and hands-on campaign experience.
The Marketing Specialist, Life Science Content & Campaigns will turn complex research, customer evidence, product information, and market insights into clear, credible, and commercially effective content. The role will also support the execution of integrated campaigns across email, social media, web, webinars, publisher programs, and Sales follow-up.
This is a content-led marketing role, not a traditional scientific-writer position. The successful candidate will understand how individual assets work together to support a defined audience, campaign message, call to action, and commercial objective.
What you will do
- Write and edit scientific and commercial content, including blogs, white papers, customer stories, landing pages, emails, social media posts, and Sales materials.
- Interview scientists, technical specialists, customers, and collaborators to turn complex information into clear, audience-focused content.
- Repurpose posters, publications, webinars, presentations, protocols, and customer data into coordinated campaign assets.
- Manage the day-to-day execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including asset planning, timelines, reviews, launches, and follow-up.
- Develop email campaigns, nurture sequences, organic social content, and website copy that move audiences from initial engagement toward deeper scientific and commercial conversations.
- Support webinars, publisher programs, product launches, partnerships, and customer campaigns by coordinating speakers, promotional content, downloadable resources, and post-event activity.
- Create campaign-aligned content and tools for Sales and Technical Sales teams.
- Review campaign performance and use the results to improve messaging, content, calls to action, and future campaign execution.
- Coordinate scientific and commercial review while managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines.
Required qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in biology, biomedical science, biotechnology, bioengineering, pharmacology, or another relevant life science discipline.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in life science marketing, content marketing, scientific communications, or a related commercial role.
- Demonstrated experience writing for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, research tools, diagnostics, CRO, or other scientific audiences.
- A strong portfolio showing both long-form scientific content and campaign-oriented marketing content.
- Experience contributing to or executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Proven ability to understand complex scientific information and translate it into clear, accurate, audience-focused content.
- Experience developing email campaigns, landing pages, social media content, or other digital campaign assets.
- Strong project-management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and review cycles.
- Excellent written American English, editorial judgment, and attention to detail.
- Working experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM and marketing automation platform.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior laboratory or research experience.
- Experience marketing life science instruments, research tools, biotechnology platforms, assays, or scientific services.
- Familiarity with drug discovery, 3D cell culture, organoids, oncology, immuno-oncology, assay development, or screening workflows.
- Experience developing customer stories, application content, or KOL-led programs.
- Experience coordinating webinars, external scientific speakers, publishers, or media partners.
- Working knowledge of SEO, website content management, and B2B social media.
What success looks like
Within the first 6 to 12 months, the Marketing Specialist will:
- Establish a reliable pipeline of high-quality scientific and campaign content.
- Reduce the time required to turn technical ideas and scientific evidence into market-ready assets.
- Successfully coordinate the execution of multiple integrated campaigns.
- Improve alignment across email, social, web, webinars, publisher programs, and Sales follow-up.
- Increase the reuse and commercial value of customer data, posters, webinars, publications, and technical resources.
