Role Overview:
The Account Executive a will be responsible for supporting to drive new business acquisition, building strong prospective client relationships and meeting sales targets within their assigned region. In this role you will be doing a combination of inbound sales, where you run qualification, discovery calls, product demos, follow-up, contract negotiation, and close on leads sourced from our marketing team.
This role requires a driven, self-motivated individual with a proven track record in software or SaaS sales, with a passion for technology and innovation. This is a role where your success is what you make of it. To be successful, you will need to get to know your prospects and understand how to develop and uncover the pain that we can solve with our software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to inbound leads to qualify, complete discovery, conduct engaging product demonstrations, negotiate and close deals.
- Support the strategic sales plan for your assigned region to achieve and exceed goals.
- Track and nurture your sales pipeline to achieve your individual sales revenue targets.
- Generate leads - Identify new business opportunities to build iVvys brand reputation and customer base within your assigned region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key regional stakeholders and prospective clients to move them through the sales cycle.
- Utilise the Hubspot CRM system to track opportunities, sales activities and prospective client interactions. Ensuring you are taking a data-driven approach to your sales efforts and that diligent notes are taken to stay on top of your leads.
- Keep up with industry trends and competitors to identify new opportunities.
- Supporting teams with feedback, insight, and opportunities to elevate our product.
Key Competencies:
- 3+ years of sales experience in a SaaS environment – with a track record of exceeding targets.
- Strong communicator - Excellent verbal and written communication.
- A strong focus on solution-selling and detailed discovery to sell to pain points is critical.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Skilled in delivering compelling presentations and product demos.
- A self-starter, with the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with team members, management, and external partners.
- Familiarity using CRM software (Hubspot).
- Someone who operates with a high level of authenticity and integrity, we are dedicated to collaboration and supporting others, you should be committed to conducting yourself with kindness and professionalism.
- Willingness to travel to client meetings and industry events when needed.
Preferred Extra Experience/Skills:
- Prior experience working in, or knowledge of venue sales and/or the Meeting and Event industry.
- To support expansion into LATAM – Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (spoken and written) preferred.
