KPMG’s Technology Implementation team supports clients across a range of industries to deliver technology enabled business transformation. Our unique business driven approach provides requires deep industry insight, functional expertise and technology know-how that underpins an organisation’s strategic goals
Our SAP Capability team is expanding nationally. You will lead and manage projects, supervise a small team of SAP analysts and consultants, and deliver enterprise asset management solutions with technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills. As a leader, you will liaise with senior internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role by:
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a growing team of SAP analysts and functional consultants, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
- Project Leadership: Manage SAP EAM related projects, including new implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and system enhancements, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope. Liaise with internal and external project stakeholders.
- Estimating and RFx’s: You will required to estimate within project forecasts and contribute to RFx responses.
- Solution Design & Configuration: Lead the configuration, customization, and enhancement of SAP EAM capabilities to meet business needs.
- Business Process Optimization: Partner with EAM teams to analyse existing processes, identify gaps, and recommend best practices using SAP capabilities to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Integration Management: Ensure seamless integration of SAP EAM with other modules (e.g., MM, FI, CO) and external systems, maintaining data integrity and consistency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between EAM business units and IT, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level support for SAP EAM issues and system troubleshooting.
- Training & Documentation: Develop training materials, conduct user training sessions, and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Innovation: Stay updated on SAP advancements and EAM technology trends, and recommend upgrades or new functionalities to enhance financial operations.

Your Experience

- A minimum of 10-12 years’ experience in SAP EAM implementations in a consulting or similar external client facing role; with significant experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations. You will need to have proficiency in the latest EAM functionality delivered in S/4HANA greater than version 2021, including experience in Phased Orders and Scheduling.
- Preference will also be given to people having additional experience in S/4HANA Public cloud and other toolsets like APM, FSM and IAM.
- Proven track record of leading at least 2-3 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA EAM implementations.
- Strong understanding of enterprise asset management principles and best practises.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with global teams.
- PMP or relevant project management certification is a plus.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification (master’s or bachelor's degree) in a relevant field.
- Current SAP Certifications.
