Our Enterprise Deals & Specialist Services team supports clients in managing to plan for their continued business success and growth. We decisively deliver new ways of thinking, big-picture perspectives and acute insights that help clients make informed choices to deal with complex issues. The main purpose of this role is managing the process around the annual compliance requirements of a portfolio of SMSF’s. You will be responsible for driving the efficiency of the process, handling query management as well as looking for additional strategic advice opportunities for each fund.
Job Description
- You will be responsible for the efficient and timely running of the compliance process over a specific SMSF portfolio, both locally and interstate.
- Preparation of Business Activity Statements. Ability to collaborate with the team on highlighting potential strategic advice opportunities.
- Assisting on the execution of internal risk requirements and liaising directly with the external auditors.
- Willingness to represent the national SMSF team on internal training sessions and client initiatives.
- This role will also allow you to expand your technical knowledge around SMSF’s, work with leaders in the business on strategic opportunities for each SMSF as well as providing you with exciting career progression opportunities.

Your Experience

- Ideally you will have 2 years’ experience working in tax and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with a client centric approach to your work.
- Strong organisational skills that enable the individual to work in a fast moving and highly collaborative culture.
- Experience using Class Super is desired.
Qualifications
Working towards CA or CPA qualifications.
