About the Team
The Oracle Technology Implementation team at KPMG Australia specialises in empowering clients to leverage Oracle Cloud solutions to achieve successful digital transformation. From designing and configuring applications to testing and deploying Oracle solutions, the team works with organisations to enhance operational efficiencies and align technology investments with strategic goals.
Our team partners with clients to develop tailored solutions for critical domains like Finance, HR, and Supply Chain, while also integrating Oracle Fusion AI capabilities to drive improved decision-making processes. This collaboration blends deep industry knowledge with advanced technology expertise, ensuring businesses are equipped to navigate constant innovation and change.
Role Purpose and Goal
Join KPMG's Oracle team to play a pivotal role in project delivery across diverse clients, ranging from mid-size businesses to large multinational corporations across industries like professional services, financials, retail, government, healthcare, and engineering. Your work will focus on driving the successful implementation of Oracle Cloud solutions while collaborating with clients to achieve their technology and business goals.
Key Role Accountabilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand, analyse, and document business requirements, delivering innovative solutions tailored to their needs.
- Facilitate workshops to help clients maximise Oracle Cloud adoption and align processes with KPMG’s leading practises.
- Work closely with advisory teams to design and implement optimised user journeys based on KPMG Powered methodology.
- Support peers by translating functional business requirements into technical guidelines for integrations, extensions, and customisations.
- Provide detailed configuration documentation, including writing clear and concise Functional Specifications.
- Continuously develop expertise in Oracle Cloud applications via training, self-learning, and active engagement in forums.
- Maintain up-to-date Oracle Cloud certifications.
- Assist with presales activities, including preparing proposals and tenders.
- Configure Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modules, workflows, security roles, BI & OTBI reports, and personalisation.

Experience

- A strong passion for consulting and Oracle Cloud solutions, coupled with a commitment to staying updated on the latest developments, whether functional or legislative.
- Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or supporting at least four Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud modules, such as General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Asset Management, Payments & Collections, Cash and Expense Management, Project Portfolio Management, or Procurement.
- Deep understanding of finance processes and the ability to translate them into functional requirements.
- Previous experience leading or contributing to an Oracle ERP implementation in a hands-on or business lead capacity.
- Technical expertise in configuring workflows, security roles, reports (BI & OTBI), design personalisation, and related customisations.
Qualifications
- Relevant certifications in Oracle Cloud ERP or the commitment to obtain them as part of your professional development.
- A practical and demonstrated understanding of Oracle Cloud’s functional and technical capabilities, showcasing your suitability for delivering client-focused solutions.
