About the Team

KPMG Australia’s Salesforce Technology Implementation team is a high-performing group of strategists, technologists, and industry experts who collaborate to deliver transformative Salesforce solutions. From enabling digital lending with Salesforce and nCino to optimising CRM strategies and enhancing existing implementations, we drive measurable business outcomes. Leveraging KPMG’s Powered Enterprise methodology, we integrate leading practices, change management, and tailored enablement to ensure seamless transitions and lasting value.

As part of our broader Salesforce capability within KPMG Consulting, the Salesforce Solution Architect team plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering enterprise-grade solutions that empower clients to unlock the full potential of the Salesforce platform.

Purpose

To lead the design and delivery of innovative, scalable, and secure Salesforce solutions that drive operational excellence, elevate customer experiences, and enable strategic business transformation.

Your Impact

As an Associate Director – Salesforce Solution Architect, you will:

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior client stakeholders, aligning Salesforce solutions with business priorities and transformation goals.
  • Architect end-to-end Salesforce solutions that are technically robust, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the full project lifecycle—from ideation and design to implementation and iteration.
  • Champion best practices in architecture, DevOps, integration, and data migration, ensuring high-quality delivery and long-term sustainability.
  • Contribute to the growth of KPMG’s Salesforce capability through thought leadership, mentoring, and active involvement in go-to-market initiatives.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end solution architecture for Salesforce programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise standards.
  • Define and govern architectural principles, development practices, and DevOps processes.
  • Develop technology roadmaps and phased implementation strategies tailored to client environments.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Leads, Architects, and SMEs to manage scope, timelines, and delivery risks.
  • Oversee integration architecture, data migration planning, and execution.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide strategic recommendations for adoption.
  • Ensure compliance with non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Act as a thought leader in Salesforce and broader technology enablement practices.

Experience

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Extensive experience in Salesforce solution architecture and enterprise-scale implementations.
  • Proven track record of leading complex Salesforce programs and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce ecosystem including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and industry-specific solutions.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and delivering high-impact solutions.
  • Exposure to DevOps, DataOps, and testing frameworks within Salesforce environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A passion for solving business challenges through technology and innovation.
  • An innovative mindset and a collaborative approach to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Salesforce certifications such as Certified Application Architect, System Architect, Platform App Builder, and Administrator.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry-recognised certifications.
