The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join the KPMG Sydney Office to support leaders in the Turnaround and Restructuring practice - the Partner in Charge, the Head of Private Credit for ASPAC and the National lead for Turnaround services.

If you are highly organised, professional and forward thinking with a passion to support leaders of the business, this role will allow you to demonstrate and develop your exceptional professional skills supporting the different roles that these leaders perform day-to-day whilst working in a fast-paced environment alongside a supportive and experienced Executive Assistant cohort.

Working directly for these leaders and with the wider team, this role will require you to multi-task and manage competing priorities and deadlines to provide a high level of support across the business.

In addition, there will be opportunities to support the Strategy and Operations function of the team through the support of the Partner in Charge. In this dynamic and integral role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing confidential and efficient administrative support.
  • Provide support in the creation and presentation of deliverables such as proposals, reports and presentations.
  • Planning and coordinating complex scheduling and extensive calendar management using knowledge of key priorities and preparing those you support accordingly.
  • Understanding business priorities and applying this knowledge to input to and support key strategic initiatives.
  • Drafting, editing and supporting the distribution of communications including office wide internal communications, emails and invitations to clients for Business Development.
  • Managing Business Development activity including event planning and execution.
  • Managing and arranging both domestic and complex international travel and travel related activities
  • Supporting Partners with their involvement in any committees with agendas, scheduling and actions management.
  • Executing expenses, timesheets, and invoices on behalf of those you support.
  • Maintaining strong professional relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders and their EA’s.

How are you Extraordinary

You’re a commercially savvy, friendly, and composed EA who is a born organiser. You bring passion and energy to the role through a combination of the following skills and experience:

  • Several years’ experience supporting senior executive/s in a fast paced environment
  • High level skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint, with other skills also considered favourably such as CRM
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively and confidently across all levels of the team
  • Outstanding organisation skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands, meet deadlines and be calm under pressure
  • Be flexible in ways of thinking and approach to the day-to-day and where needed be a driver for change
  • A strong sense of accountability and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes
  • A strong detail orientation and high level of accuracy
  • A proactive approach with a tendency to be a natural problem solver
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
