Within this division, our Risk Consulting team help clients embed effective governance, risk management, compliance, and internal controls, to address their most complex challenges and improve outcomes for the communities they serve. Our Health, Ageing, and Human Services (HAHS) team is made up of professionals from a wide range of disciplines, including nursing, pharmacy, mental health, economics, finance, risk, governance, policy, and technology.

We partner with a broad spectrum of organisations across the sector, including aged care and disability providers, hospitals and healthcare services, community health organisations, children and family services, Indigenous services, social housing and homelessness support, and mental health, alcohol, and drug services—spanning government, private, and not-for-profit sectors.

Job Description

We’re seeking a passionate Manager to join our Risk Consulting team in Melbourne, specialising in the Health, Ageing and Human Services (HAHS) sector.

As a Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading client engagements and supporting your team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Leading the delivery of client projects and supporting your team throughout.
  • Building strong client relationships—planning, scoping, responding to queries, and escalating when needed.
  • Managing budgets, resources, and ensuring timely delivery of reports.
  • Supporting the development of team members and contributing to a positive team culture.
  • Beginning to identify opportunities to support Directors and Partners with business development.

You’ll bring:

  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with health and human services operations, data sets, and sector-specific practices.
  • A background in health, ageing, or human services—whether as a clinician or in management, operational, clinical governance, quality, safety, or risk roles, or through consulting to the sector.
  • Confidence in preparing high-quality presentations and reports.
  • A curious mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • The ability to lead a team and manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards

Candidates with a clinical background, especially those with relevant experience or qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

A tertiary qualification in health, management, economics, law, finance, or a related field.
