Our KPMG Mid -Market & Private, Advisory team provides strategic level advice and support to a range of clients spanning government and mid-sized listed and privately held organisations, supporting the office of the CFO on finance operations and transformation and enterprise planning programs. Job Description

As a Senior Consultant of our high performing team, you will actively contribute to delivering client engagements across a range of industries in the mid-market and private sector. You will operate under the oversight of a senior team member who will focus on coaching and development. Your responsibilities may include, being part of a team that:

  • Formulates business strategies and advice on business and finance operating models to build organizational resilience
  • Delivers high-quality analysis, forward-thinking, and considered technical solutions for a range of clients
  • Ability to build data models and conduct analysis to support integrated business information and data-based decision making
  • Sustains long-term relationships with our clients, founded on integrity and trust

Through your work experience and knowledge in consulting, you have acquired some of the following skills and capabilities:

  • Strond data modelling and management skills including exposure to accounting and business planning solutions
  • An understanding of accounting processes and finance team operations
  • Sound commercial acumen and an understanding of financial implications decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to apply systems thinking and analysis techniques to complex problems
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly developed data analtyics and or modelling skills.
  • Enjoy complexity and ambiguity and bringing innovative ideas to deliver quality outcomes

Qualifications

  • Tertiary-level education in commerce, business, finance, technology, or similar degrees
  • Preferably accounting qualifications or studying towards professional qualifications.
