What You’ll Do
Based in Perth, you’ll play a key role in delivering internal audit and GRC engagements. Your work will include:
- Assessing and uplifting governance, risk, and control frameworks to help clients strengthen their operations
- Supporting the delivery of internal audits, from planning through to fieldwork and reporting
- Drafting reports and presentations that clearly communicate findings and recommendations
- Conducting research and analysis using KPMG’s global methodologies and tools
- Collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Engaging with clients, building confidence and trusted working relationships
You’ll be supported by senior team members while being trusted with meaningful responsibilities that help you grow rapidly.
What You Bring
You’re driven, curious, and ready to develop your career in governance, risk, or internal audit. You bring:
- 1–2 years’ experience in internal audit, risk, governance, controls advisory, or within a regulatory body (e.g., ASIC/APRA)
- Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, accounting, data analytics, or a related field
- Experience in professional services or client-facing roles (preferred but not essential)
- A solid understanding of business processes, risks, and controls
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage your time, stay organised, and deliver work to deadline
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to build strong professional relationships
- A genuine interest in helping clients improve how they operate
