About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing content for Lawpath. We’re looking for someone with a legal background, a flair for content management, and an entrepreneurial drive to join our growing team in Sydney.
This is a part-time position and we are looking for someone who can allocate 3 working days to the company. This is a hybrid role.
Supporting the Content Marketing vertical, the successful candidate will assist in delivery, execution, and reporting to drive a jam-packed calendar of initiatives.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Work with the content team to create and implement content and copywriting across blogs. You will be writing about business advice, legal considerations, and legislation changes
- Copywriting assistance across Lawpath’s website and owned assets, including email, newsletters, and remarketing from time to time
- Approaching and contributing to external publication workflow
- Proofreading and adherence to brand guidelines of all assets.
- Manage the blogs and assist in uploads and liaise with the design team when needed
- Collaborate with the content team to create a social media calendar for content distribution
- Support content-led partnership initiatives
- Be able to gather data and translate it into results-driven campaigns
- Assist with public relations efforts (if and when needed)
To be successful, you will need:
- We value legal students or someone who has a strong legal background for this role. Applicants with experience in a similar role will be given preference
- Excellent written and proofreading skills. We don’t need a grammar nerd, but writing skills are central to this role
- Resilient with impeccable time management and the ability to multi-task
- Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
- Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
- Confident and curious attitude in building strong relationships across the business to learn about our products, technology, and people
