This is a hands-on role for a trade marketer with 2-3 years experience, who is looking to step up into a manager role

Let’s talk about the role:

The Retail Marketing Manager will be responsible for providing cross-regional omni-channel support to sales teams. The role will report into the Love to Dream HQ marketing team. Key focus markets will be AU, UK, US and other emerging markets as strategically aligned.

Key Responsibilities:

Key brand and comms contact for brand specific requests

  • Work with country leads and local marketing resource to prioritize regional requirements, e.g. leading quarterly discussions with country leads on key regional requirements
  • Ongoing reporting on progress of wholesale/retail requests
  • As required, attending quarterly meetings with major wholesale / retailer / distributors partners to present global marketing initiatives, discuss local opportunities and align on annual marketing calendars – ensuring that global marketing messages are amplified across all channels in market
  • Quarterly review of in market coms and collateral to ensure that messaging/positioning is consistent to Love to Dream global brand.

Responsible for regional sell-in materials for wholesale and distributor partners:

  • Create global playbook of brand story and points of differentiation, industry trends, etc
  • Adapt playbook accordingly for key regions.
  • Responsible for half-yearly update of LTD Commercial Deck
  • Development of retailer brand guidelines for retailers / distributors creating assets

Establish global point of sale materials playbook (including global brand refresh)

  • Responsible for creating global playbook of POS materials (incl. shelf talkers, floor stands, shelf-ready box displays, store ready facing tear-away leaflets and/or brochures, QR Code signage that drives back to educational content landing page etc
  • Establish comms hierarchy for key POS materials by region

Product and sales training collateral

  • Create global Evergreen training deck that can be shared with retailers, distributors and sales reps – adapt by region.
  • Localise global sales catalogue for key markets.

Digital support for retailer websites

  • Branded templates tailored for retailers (e.g. brand landing pages on retailer websites, EDMs, social posts)
  • Web copy and images tailored for retailers

International video content requirements

  • Establish holistic view of video content required globally, prioritize and brief asset creation accordingly, from sales collateral and training videos to retailer websites (and brief tailoring if needed in conjunction with local marketing resource).

Calendar Management

  • Global calendar management (overview + regional specific calendar) with input from local leads.
  • Support in-market teams to deliver retailer marketing initiatives (providing input on existing assets and/or templates, and/or learnings on similar initiatives from other markets)

Marketing updates

  • Provide monthly updates/reporting to country leads on key brand and comms initiatives such as campaign, social and influencer updates. This will also include key marketing wins (awards, influencers, features, mentions, etc) to be shared with retailers and distributors to drive brand excitement.

Other marketing initiatives

  • Responsible for award entries templates across key markets. Local marketing resource to submit awards.
  • Maintain global set of trade show assets. Local marketing roles to adapt.
  • Response for other ad-hoc initiatives to support brand awareness growth

AU trade marketing

  • Support retailer specific content and campaigns across a variety of media including
  • Season Launch trade and PR events
  • Trade Show Coordination Support (signage, competitions, etc).
  • Local industry awards entry and management
  • Identify, propose, and facilitate relevant local trade events, dynamic cross-brand partnerships, and seasonal event campaigns in Australia and New Zealand to drive brand awareness and sales growth potential.
  • Look for dynamic cross-brand partnerships, and seasonal event campaigns.
  • Provide AUS/CN Sales teams with relevant selling tools including trade presenters, brand info sheets and branded POS/ collateral (tailored from global collateral)
  • Brief into design wholesale focused EDMs – driving product knowledge and sales volume

Skills required:

  • Marketing or business degree
  • Min 3 yrs trade marketing experience essential
  • Project management skills
  • Efficiency driven (i.e. purpose of this role is drive scalability/efficiency across regions)
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of product and industry
  • Stakeholder management and relationship building
  • Cross regional experience

Location:

Based in a hybrid office environment in Zetland, Sydney. Min 3 days/wk in the office.
