Introduction

Let’s talk about the role:

We seek a highly creative and strategic marketer to lead Love to Dream’s brand and communications strategy. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for executing our brand vision and driving measurable results. As the custodian of our brand, you will ensure consistency across all touchpoints, from website and retail environments to social media and advertising. A strong emphasis is placed on creating high-performing social media content that supports our international DTC growth strategy.

This is a hands-on role requiring a proven track record in brand marketing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute world-class campaigns and content. Success in this role demands a results-oriented mindset and the ability to translate brand strategy into compelling storytelling.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 3 local direct reports and manage/expand a team of freelance creatives and agencies.
  • Execute on Love to Dream’s brand positioning and visual identity, bringing this to life across website, catalogues, retail environments, trade shows and advertising assets, with a focus on performance digital assets.
  • Brand budget planning & management.

Content creation across omnichannel touch points

  • Lead global online content creation across UGC, branded social assets, templates, Amazon and web content, in line with existing content strategy
  • Results driven approach to content creation – e.g. drive recommendations for creative optimisation across social channels
  • Set branding and experience expectations for Retail environment, trade and consumer shows and provide cross-functional support to the sales team
  • Lead content creation for sales collateral including catalogues, tradeshow stands, sell in decks etc
  • Oversee creation of video content + photoshoots for use in marketing collateral

Influencer, PR and partner management

  • Provide strategic support in social media management to meet business objectives – develop content, influencer/ambassador collaboration and content that align with the brand's vision
  • Oversee the PR strategy, working with agencies where relevant – including company award submissions across our core regions
  • Develop external partnership opportunities to meet various brand marketing objectives
  • Own relationships with Love to Dream affiliated charities

Brand management

  • Clearly understand the customer shopping journey - Ensure that we have a consistent correct tone of voice and visual identity across all touchpoints
  • Project manage all internal and external stakeholders on critical brand projects
  • Maintain robust brand guidelines
  • Execute on 12-month communications strategy and marketing/campaign plan to elevate our brand and drive business growth across our core regions
  • Execute on communications & content strategy and marketing plan around all NPDs and promotions

Drive efficiencies

  • Implement processes, procedures and tools to maximise the productivity and performance of the brand & communications team
  • Drive scalable approach to global content creation
  • Ensure all Brand + Campaign initiatives have clear success measures, from influencer and PR ROI to performance of digital social assets

Let’s talk about you - qualifications and experience:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role in-house or within agency settings
  • A creative and strategic thinker. Data and results-driven mindset. An enthusiastic go-getter
  • Proficient with key business skills: negotiation, project management and leadership.
  • Previous experience managing content creation for digital comms essential
  • Team and agency management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Recent experience managing creative teams
  • Proven track record in delivering results in marketing via paid, earned and owned channels
  • Proven experience with concept development.
  • Knowledge of how to develop brand identities through multi-channel marketing
  • Ability to interact with high-profile influencers and partners.
  • Experience with applying design, copy or web best practices.
