As we embark on an exciting new chapter of growth, we are seeking a solution focused, action orientated Accounts Officer, proficient in Mandarin to join our growing, dynamic business. This position sits within our Finance division, where you will be become an integral part of a team.

Role Overview

As the Accounts Officer you will be a key member of the Finance team, reporting directly to our Financial Accountant. You will be responsible for the accurate recognition of sales in the China region, enabling reliable and timely reporting on the APAC business.

This role will focus on our China entity, key responsibilities in this role will include:

• Recognition of sales data across a few platforms in China, including JD Direct, Tmall and WeChat, and wholesale customers.
• Review the sales and returns discrepancy report and cross-check with sales platform and warehouse reports.
• Review the warehouse inbound and outbound records and reconcile the inventory movements in NetSuite.
• Assist the Financial Accountant with new sales channel set up, such as trade shows or new wholesale accounts.
• Provide sales documentation to external accounting firm on a bi-monthly basis
• Reconcile Alipay merchant accounts and JD sub accounts.
• Reconcile JD main account and monitor automation into NetSuite, flagging any discrepancies with the accountant for investigation.
• Create journals to record marketing or other transactions during the month.
• Assist accounts receivable team to confirm specific transactions within Alipay main account.
• Support APAC sales team and local accountant with ad-hoc tasks as required.

About You – Qualifications and Experience

• Proficient in English and Mandarin, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• A degree qualification (or be studying towards) in Accounting or Commerce.
• Action oriented and solutions focused, results driven. Comfortable working in a small team environment.
• Demonstrated prioritisation skills, proactive communication and thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment
