The role outcomes:
We are looking for a passionate, entrepreneurial brand builder who will thrive with the opportunity to build awareness and advocacy for Love to Dream, targeting UK, Germany, France and broader EMEA. The EMEA Marketing Manager will be required to lead with independence - crafting and executing strategies tailored to local markets, while staying anchored to the global vision and priorities set by Love To Dream HQ. They will be responsible for identifying local marketing opportunities and execution against the global strategy, driving local brand building initiatives to cater for specific market and customer nuances, and owning marketing relationships with agency partners, key retailers and safer sleep / medical opinion leaders. Success in this role will require strong collaboration / communication skills with global stakeholders, resourcefulness in scaling global assets / existing resources to deliver effective outcomes against regional marketing budgets, and a deep understanding of end consumers across Europe.
The role will report into the GM EMEA with dotted line reporting to Head of Brand & Communications (in AUS).
Key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Brand activations in UK and Germany: Planning and executing local market brand building initiatives in line with the global brand strategy, with a strong focus on education and advocacy. This will include, working with Head of Brand and Comms to build execution plan for local PR, awards, new parent clubs, brand collaborations, key opinion leaders and consumer shows – catered to local market needs and maturity
- France market entry: Pave the way for Love to Dream's entry into the French market, building brand awareness through a digital-first approach and strategic brand and retailer collaborations, while working within defined budget parameters
- Adapting global content for local EU markets: Overseeing translation of content into German / French and adapting concepts as needed for UK market based on digital marketing insights. Ability to execute simple updates using Canva / AI to existing static and video assets
- Ongoing relationship management with major retailer / distributor marketing functions, brand partners and local agencies: Key relationship holder for ongoing marketing support with major customers including quarterly brand updates and marketing calendar planning; sourcing and developing relationships with local brand and agency partners
- EMEA trade marketing support: Develop local trade marketing resources based on global guidelines and assets to support major retailer / distributor initiatives including POS, ensuring Love To Dream’s presence at key EMEA trade events (including Kind & Jugend) and in major trade publications
- EMEA marketing calendar including local campaign and promotional planning: Ownership of UK and Germany detailed marketing calendar, with month by month planning on ‘always on’ BAU activity, whole of market campaigns, NPD launch and promotional activity across all EMEA sales channels in UK and Germany (i.e. Online, Amazon and Wholesale)
- EMEA marketing budget management: Responsible for trade marketing budget and spend across UK and Germany, close collaboration with Head of Brand on UK and Germany brand building budget and spend
- Social listening and competitor tracking: Continually capture insights on end consumer preferences and competitor activity through close local market monitoring on key channels
KPIs: Key measures of success include brand awareness growth, regional sales growth, meeting or improving on marketing budgeted spend and cost of sale targets
About you - qualifications and experience:
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:
- Proficiency in English and German / French languages
- Successful track record in marketing consumer goods and scaling up brand awareness and advocacy in omnichannel businesses, with holistic experience executing across major marketing channels (e.g. media partnerships, PR, brand collaborations, digital, content) and managing against strict marketing spend targets
- Experience managing trade marketing plans in UK and/or Europe, ideally in the baby and toddler category
- Basic creative design / copy writing capabilities, comfort using Canva and AI tools
- Strong customer focus and relationship building skills, with a passion for delivering the best outcome for the end consumer
- Clear communication skills in the identification and communication of data & consumer led opportunities across different markets / channels, ability to present and influence action
- Ability to break down commercial goals into actionable targets, execute on the plan and manage interdependencies with other stakeholders

- Collaborative interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to establish rapport and work efficiently with all team members serving various functions at various levels, and across different timezones
Location:
Location flexible for the right candidate. Otherwise hybrid in UK with 4 days working remotely from home. Ability to travel into London for weekly in-office days
