About the Role:
Reporting to the Portfolio Managers, the Portfolio Management Analyst will support the management of funds and credit investment strategies across global markets. This includes portfolio monitoring, financial analysis, risk assessment, and assisting in the execution of investment transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the financial performance credit assets, ensuring that investments meet financial and operational objectives.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including cash flow forecasting, return on investment (ROI) analysis, and risk assessment to track fund and portfolio performance.
- Assist in the preparation of regular fund investor reports, including maintenance of supporting investment and portfolio management tools and models.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks within the portfolio, particularly regulatory, operational, financial, and market risks, ensuring that risk is managed effectively.
- Assist in the evaluation and due diligence process for new credit investment opportunities, assessing their viability, risk-return profile, and alignment with the firm’s strategic goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the MA Financial business, including distribution, product, finance, operations, legal, compliance and technical experts as required in the pursuit of satisfying fund and investment strategy objectives.
- Assisting the portfolio managers in the effective management of funds and investment strategies.
- Prepare, analyse and recommend fund and investment actions such as investment drawdowns and settlements, currency hedging and execution of bond, debt and equity transactions in listed, OTC and private market segments.
- Assist in the preparation of regular fund investor reports and other fund/investment strategy collateral, including maintenance of supporting investment and portfolio management tools and models.
- Stay informed on industry trends, technological innovations, market dynamics, and regulatory/policy changes in financial markets.
- Develop and maintain industry related contacts and relationships in wholesale/capital markets and across MA Financial businesses and functions.
- Attend industry related conferences, seminars and workshops to stay across the latest developments in markets and the finance industry

Skills, qualifications and experience
- 1-3 years’ experience in structured finance, asset management, treasury management, or financial analysis
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CFA, CA, CPA) is a plus
- Strong analytical and modelling skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills and other Office 365 Products. Experience with Tableau preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Strong problem-solving abilities, detail-oriented and a proactive approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Strong quantitative skills are highly desirable
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment to meet competing deadlines
