Join MA Financial Group – Financial Accountant | BGC, Taguig, Manila | Hybrid Work Setup

MA Financial Group is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Financial Accountant to join our Asset Management Financial Control team. This is a full-time, permanent role based in BGC, Taguig, supporting our Sydney operations, with a hybrid work arrangement.

About the Role

You will work alongside a team of skilled finance professionals supporting a diversified portfolio across private credit, real estate, hospitality, and venture capital. Your responsibilities will span month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, invoicing, regulatory compliance, and supporting group audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Month-end and reporting period close processes
• Journal preparation and revenue recognition
• Accounting for fund co-investments and offshore entities
• Balance sheet reconciliations and analytical reviews
• Invoicing, cash payments, and receivables management
• Legal entity financial statements, audit support, and compliance reporting
• Supporting ASX half-year and year-end group financial reporting

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in financial control or accounting
• Relevant degree in Accounting; CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
• Experience in financial services or asset management (desirable)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (a plus)
