Position Summary:

The purpose of the role is to provide administration support for the MA Money Sales Team. As a sales support officer, you will be responsible for administrative tasks to make sure the sales team is running smoothly. You will be the key liaison between the sales teams and other business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interaction with senior stakeholders
  • Support sales staff by managing the accreditation and onboarding of brokers using Salesforce CRM, taking appropriate actions in accrediting brokers and assigning to BDMs
  • Action accreditation requests - checking of documents, sending of broker agreements, chasing up pending documents, checking and monitoring off-panel approved brokers monthly, and removing access for brokers who have settled off-panel deals
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of accreditations
  • Communicate with brokers on a regular basis to follow up on accreditation documents
  • Collaborate effectively with the sales team by creating dashboards to enable sales tracking of results
  • Effective management of all enquiries received via the sales mailboxes:

Info – answer general queries

Scenarios – forward to assigned BDM

Broker Agreements – checking for signed broker agreements

Sales Support – check for core logic requests, product discretions, accreditation requests

Accreditations – action accreditation requests, broker updates, answer queries from aggregators

  • Communicate with different aggregators and send accredited brokers list each month
  • Follow up on expired accreditation documents each month and update Salesforce accordingly
  • Approve PropertyHub access requests from brokers
  • Update broker information: restructure, termination, reinstatement, deletion, BDM transfer, and contact information
  • Apply Product Discretions to applications and notify Credit team
  • Salesforce – data clean-up, ensuring data is accurate and up to date
  • Design and generate reports & dashboards for the sales and sales support team
  • Answer calls and queries for accreditation and broker information updates
  • Assist in pre-assessment of applications received by the Credit team when needed
  • Collaborate with MA Money Leadership team by supporting and recommending system improvements and participating in UAT
  • Establish active communication and engagement with all other departments to help out where necessary
  • Train new staff in the Sales Support function
  • Proactively identify areas of process improvement and implement actions and improvements.
  • Have the ability to build rapport
  • Flexibility to switch between tasks and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience dealing with brokers, understanding of the aggregators and intermediaries’ landscape
  • Confidence and demonstrated experience dealing with difficult conversations
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ensure all MA MONEY risk and compliance standards are maintained

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Experience managing stakeholders with multiple tasks and deadlines

  • High degree of competency in using computer, origination, and credit systems
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to detail with excellent customer service knowledge
  • Previous experience in the mortgage broker industry with proven ability to self-motivate and work autonomously
