The Project Manager plays a key role in coordinating and delivering a variety of small to medium projects across the business, while also providing support on larger organisational initiatives. The role also involves assisting BAU teams with vendor-related deployments, managing vendor interactions, and helping ensure delivery milestones are achieved on time and in line with business objectives.
Working across several concurrent pieces of work, the Project Manager engages closely with project sponsors, internal stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors. This position is well suited to someone with 1–3 years of experience who is ready to broaden their responsibilities while still having access to guidance and support from senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Planning
- Deliver small to medium-sized projects from planning through implementation.
- Provide coordination and support on larger, cross-functional projects led by senior project managers or program leads.
- Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, reports, and other delivery documentation.
- Assist stakeholders in defining requirements, scope, and expected outcomes.
- Coordinate the work of internal teams and external vendors to progress project activities.
- Support implementation planning, readiness tasks, and transition activities for BAU teams.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Assist with managing vendor relationships, monitoring deliverables, and tracking milestones.
- Coordinate vendor onboarding, deployment logistics, and integration activities.
- Support BAU teams through system upgrades, releases, and vendor-driven changes.
- Schedule and run project meetings, workshops, and status updates.
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with stakeholders across business, product, operations, and technology.
Risk, Issue & Change Management
- Help identify and track project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating when necessary.
- Support change management activities such as communications, training coordination, and readiness assessments.
- Assist with scope adjustments, resourcing considerations, and updates to delivery timelines.
Execution & Implementation
- Support testing activities, training coordination, data migration steps, and go-live planning.
- Contribute to the preparation of handover documentation and BAU support materials.
- Assist with monitoring delivery progress and tracking benefits, KPIs, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Required
- 3–5 years’ experience in project coordination or project management.
- Experience supporting or coordinating multiple projects or workstreams.
- Exposure to vendor management, including coordination of deployments or integrations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to produce and maintain core project documentation (plans, schedules, RAID logs, reporting/Steer Co packs).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Understanding project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or Agile.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Desired
- Experience in financial services, lending operations, or technology delivery environments.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or Q2, or similar loan management platforms.
- Experience supporting BAU teams through system changes or vendor-driven releases.
- Understanding process improvement, automation, or digital transformation concepts.
- Experience working with cross-functional delivery teams.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in business, IT, or related discipline.
- Project management certifications (PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile) are beneficial but not essential.
