MA Specialty Funding is business unit within MA Financial Private Credit. It maintains niche lending platforms providing funding to law firms and their clients, mortgage brokers and homebuilders. It has achieved growth in its lending platforms of 20% per annum over the last five years and has launched a number of new loan products. We offer:

About the role ,

While this is a 12-month maternity cover role, we anticipate a progression to a permanent role as the business continues its growth.

The role has two functions:

  • being one of a six-member operations team which administers the lending platforms and its 20,000+ loans; and
  • supporting our Director Lending in sourcing and onboarding new law firm clients.

This role suits someone from an operations administrative background who has the personal skills and drive to become an important part of our business growth strategy.

What you will do:

Operations Administration

  • Reviewing and processing customer loans applications, drawdowns and repayments;
  • Liaising with staff at our law firm clients and resolving issues as they arise;
  • Inbox and workflow management;

Client Relations

  • Respond to inbound enquiries from law firm clients about the funding products we offer
  • Undertake credit enquiries for prospective clients
  • Assist in the preparation of internal approval documentation
  • Prepare, issue and coordinate loan documentation with clients
  • Help borrowers understand compliance requirements and onboarding processes
  • Host demonstrations of the company’s online client portal for new clients

  • Processes are followed correctly and your raise improvements or issues early

Client Relations

  • You talk confidently about our funding product both internally and to law firm clients
  • You are undertaking the credit enquiries, preparing documentation and setting new law firms up on our system in an accurate and timely manner
  • You win the confidence of our clients as you guide them through the onboarding process
  • You make the Director Lending’s life easy

Skills, qualifications and experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
  • Min 3 years’ experience in an operations administration role
  • Exposure to sales or customer relationship activities
  • Experience with loan processing, financial services, or data validation is an advantage
