About the role

We are seeking a commercially astute and hands-on FP&A Manager to lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management processes across the MA Money & Speciality lending businesses. Reporting to the GM Finance for Lending, this role will play a critical part in driving financial discipline, delivering actionable insights, and supporting strategic decision-making across a fast-growing lending platform. As the sole FP&A position in the lending businesses this is a high-visibility role with full P&L exposure and close engagement with executive leadership of the lending businesses.



What You’ll Do

  • Own and lead the end-to-end annual budget process for lending business units in line with Group budget deliverables.

  • Maintain rolling forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Build, maintain, and continuously enhance robust financial models in Excel to support driver-based forecasting, scenario analysis, and stress testing.

  • Deliver detailed lending portfolio analysis including revenue, net interest margin, cost of funds, credit performance, impairment, and operating expense management.

  • Provide full P&L analysis with clear commentary on performance versus budget and forecast.

  • Prepare monthly management reports, board packs, and executive presentations with clear, actionable insights.

  • Prepare ASX investor presentation inputs and commentary on lending business results.

  • Partner with business leaders to challenge assumptions, improve forecast reliability, and identify risks and opportunities.

  • Support strategic initiatives including new product launches, funding transactions, capital planning, and growth strategies.

  • Collaborate closely with Pricing, Treasury, Lending, and Operations teams to ensure financial alignment and transparency.

  • Support ongoing cash flow management and forecasting in partnership with Treasury.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or financial modelling roles.

  • Experience within a non-bank lender or financial services environment.

  • Demonstrated ownership of budget and forecasting processes.

  • Advanced Excel modelling skills (complex integrated models, scenario analysis, driver-based forecasting).

  • Strong understanding of full P&L dynamics within a lending or financial services environment.

  • Excellent analytical capability and attention to detail.

  • Confident communicator with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.

  • Exposure to funding structures and warehouse/securitisation facilities.

  • CA / CPA / CFA qualification (or equivalent).
