About the role
You will be a key member of the MA Money team which is one of the fastest growing nonbank lenders seeing an impressive year on year increase in the loan book. The Treasury Analyst will be a business-critical role supporting the day to day funding and draws, CE cashflow forecasting, monthly reporting and optimal liquidity management via warehouse and capital market funding.
Day to day the role will involve funding draws and asset allocation across facilities, monitoring compliance of covenants, modelling and monitoring origination trends and book performance.
The duties of your role will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Preparation all treasury reporting including monthly reporting of debt and loan facilities updating ALCO and Board packs
- Daily liquidity management and loan allocation ensuring covenant compliance for each facility
- Manage origination forecasting and Senior, Mezzanine and Junior funding requirements
- Key contact for trust banking arrangements with all financial institutions and external Trustee contact
- Streamline existing treasury and reporting processes and controls support with implementation of new facilities, renewal, and renegotiation of current facilities, calling term transactions and winding up any required facilities
- Prepare Presentations, Board memos and reassessments as required
- Daily monitoring and management of funding capacity
- Review and sign off on investor monthly waterfall and reporting prepared by the Trust Manager
- Assist with audit requirements and ensure controls for reporting regulations are operating effectively and requirements are always met
- Provide support for significant business transactions through scenario funding modelling, cashflow forecasts, trends and insights and cost of funding analysis
- Working closely with finance on cash reconciliations and reporting
- Support payment processing and approvals in banking platforms if required
- Analysing and performing regular risk assessment on portfolio
- Working closely with data team to streamline treasury reporting
- Provide insight and analysis on optimal funding outcomes
About You
- Minimum 1 year experience in Treasury specifically in Funding and Securitisation
- Tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, economics, commerce or a related discipline
- Strong Excel modelling skills
- Good understanding of RMBS, securitisation and financial markets
- Enjoys working in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, with ability to manage competing deliverables
- A confident, enthusiastic, self-starter who can drive their career and professional development
- Be able to effectively communicate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
