Our Global Integrated Controls and Monitoring Team within our Commodities and Global Markets aligned Finance function are focused on reducing risk, driving controllership and strengthening the Finance Control Framework through targeted initiatives and collaboration. We deliver value to key stakeholders, including senior leadership.

What role will you play?

As a Senior Manager you will drive the design and implementation of diverse, highly visible Finance initiatives. Partnering with teams globally within Commodities and Global Markets and the broader Macquarie group you will develop commercial technology-based capabilities and solutions that are integrated into finance processes while managing risk. You will assist other Finance initiatives in an advisory capacity and support the enhancement of the Finance control environment. You will provide valuable insights and recommendations to our stakeholders in relation to the initiatives undertaken.

What you offer

• Commerce/Accounting degree and professional accounting qualifications
• 7+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably within Line 1 Operational Risk and Control in financial services
• Proven experience in managing projects/ initiatives including change management, with multiple workstreams and prioritising tasks to execute on key deliverables
• Experience with PowerBi, SharePoint, other technology tools that support automation
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills to collaborate with and influence stakeholders across all levels and experience managing a team.
