Join our global Non-Financial Risk division who provide advice, valued input and challenge across our Financial Management, People and Engagement Group the independent voice of risk, and aid staff in applying non-financial risk management best practices.

What role will you play?

As an Associate Director, you will partner closely with senior leaders across our Central, Data and Technology division, act as a trusted advisor, and influence stakeholders to achieve the right business outcomes impacted by key non- financial risks. You will apply operational risk management best practice to a diverse range of activities, help embed proportionate risk management in an agile working environment and contribute to the embedment of CPS 230 across the Central, Data and Technology Function.
In addition, you will ensure there is appropriate risk connectivity between major transformation programs and BAU activities, lead a small team of risk specialists in supporting the business and play an active role in promoting and shaping better risk practices.

What you offer

  • Extensive experience in Financial Services in Operational Risk or Risk Assurance, specialising in Data, Technology, AI or Change Risk
  • Familiarity with Agile ways of working and embedding risk into iterative delivery models
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with the ability to work across global regions effectively
  • Experience in enhancing and implementing risk and control frameworks to manage enterprise risks in high regulated entities and across group structures
  • Previous experience working on remediation programs and driving better risk outcomes through the implementation of improved control environments
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proven track record of delivery.
