The Physical Crude Trading team in Geneva plays a pivotal role in Macquarie’s global oil business. The team is engaged across international physical and financial crude markets, trading a diverse range of crude oil grades and contracts. We foster a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment, leveraging fundamental, quantitative, and technical analysis to identify trading opportunities and deliver consistent results. As a Crude Oil Trader, you will be part of a dynamic trading team, proactively identifying and capitalising on opportunities to grow the business. You will execute and manage physical crude oil trades, overseeing transactions from origination through to delivery. Building and maintaining relationships with producers, refiners, shipping partners, and other market participants is a key aspect of this role. You will analyse market trends, price movements, and supply and demand fundamentals across Europe, the Middle East, and West Africa, contributing to the team’s ongoing success.
