What role will you play?

As the leader of a world-class AI engineering team, you will be responsible for hiring, mentoring, and developing talented engineers, while fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and psychological safety. You will drive the end-to-end development of AI-powered products, overseeing everything from design and development to deployment and ongoing maintenance. Your role will also involve shaping the overall AI technology strategy by providing technical leadership and guidance on architecture, ensuring solutions are built for long-term success. You will champion engineering excellence by setting and maintaining high standards for code quality, testing, and security, as well as owning the reliability and uptime of the applications and models your team creates. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineering leaders to solve complex and challenging problems in the financial services industry. Additionally, you will take ownership of incident management, conduct post-mortems, and drive continuous improvement to ensure our systems are always evolving and improving.

  • You're a leader who inspires: You have a track record of building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing software engineering teams (ideally 15+). You know how to create an environment where engineers can thrive and do their best work.
  • You're a builder at heart: You have a deep background in software engineering and have hands-on experience with general-purpose object-oriented languages. You're passionate about the craft of software development and have a strong understanding of how to build for scale, performance, and reliability.
  • You're at the forefront of AI: You have a deep technical background in technologies relevant to building and deploying AI solutions, familiarity with the application of Gen AI and predictive AI patterns including Agentic designs, RAG, MLOps.
  • You think in systems: You're a strategic thinker who can see the bigger picture. You understand how to design and architect complex, data-intensive systems and have experience delivering end-to-end AI solutions into production.
  • You're a clear and compelling communicator: You can articulate a technical vision and inspire a team to build it. You're adept at working with product, data science, and technology stakeholders to drive alignment and deliver results.
