Join our Non-Financial Risk team within Banking and Financial Service to manage incident and issue activity. Working closely with teams across the Banking and Financial Services business, Macquarie’s central Risk Management Group and other specialist areas of Macquarie, our team act as subject matter experts in incident and issue management and play a key role in reinforcing a strong risk culture.

What role will you play?

Working across Banking and Financial Service you will leverage your stakeholder management skills to lead incident and issue investigations. Your day-to-day responsibilities include completing root cause investigations, quantifying impact, devising action plans to rectify realised impacts and prevent reoccurrence, and issue management. Working collaboratively will be crucial to drive, challenge, and influence, as well as lead conversations regarding anticipated and emerging issues.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work with a broad network
  • Problem solving skills, with the ability to understand a given problem and identify key drivers and potential solutions
  • A continuous improvement mindset and comfortable interpreting and balancing commercial issues within a risk framework
  • Strong communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to simplify complex problems into easy-to-understand problem statements and solutions
  • Work well under pressure with the ability to manage your own workload
  • Previous risk experience is valuable.
