You will act as the primary point of contact for Operational Risk matters across stakeholders in the Americas, representing the team in leadership forums and committees. Your role involves providing independent oversight, challenging business practices, and driving improvements across the Operational Risk Management Framework. You will review and analyze risk assessments, incidents, and assurance activities, offering insights and advice to business leaders. Additionally, you’ll oversee key projects, train stakeholders, and ensure the effective management of operational risks for new business initiatives.

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
