Our team in Commodities and Global Markets Futures Clearing focuses on delivering efficient and accurate operations for listed derivatives and cleared OTC products. We work collaboratively to support global market activities and continuously improve processes.
While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require a minimum of 4 days a week in our office location.

What role will you play?

You will manage trade life cycles, reconciliations, and system processes for futures and cleared OTC trades. You will work on operational improvements and contribute to projects that shape our client service offering. This role offers exposure to a wide range of stakeholders and the chance to influence change in a dynamic environment.

This position would suit someone who is able to work flexibly to support the business needs. Working in rotation on Public Holidays will also be required to capture global market activities.


What you offer

• Degree qualification and strong interest in financial markets
• 2+ years’ of experience in financial operations is preferrable with knowledge of futures clearing and/or OTC clearing
• Strong control mindset and proficiency in Excel
Ability to analyse large datasets and solve problems using innovative tools like AI tools and Power Query/Automate
• Attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work flexibly and collaboratively.
