Within this group, the Operational Resilience Governance team supports our ability to prepare for, withstand, respond to, and recover from disruptions, ensuring we continue to meet the needs of our clients and communities.

What role will you play?

As the Operational Resilience Governance Manager, you will help strengthen our operational resilience framework by working closely with stakeholders across Macquarie. You will support the assessment and management of resilience risks, enhance governance processes, and contribute to planning and testing activities that promote a strong resilience culture. Your work will help ensure we meet organisational and regulatory requirements while continually improving the effectiveness of our operational resilience practices.

What you offer

• Experience in risk management, ideally with exposure to business continuity or operational resilience governance within financial services
• Understanding of supplier risk management and related regulatory environments, or a strong interest in developing knowledge in this area
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex matters clearly and build strong relationships with stakeholders globally
• An organised, proactive, and detail‑oriented approach, supported by strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a global team, managing competing priorities effectively
• Oversight of adjacent processes including User Access Management and Shared Service Centres Governance to ensure compliance with relevant policies and guidance

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
