Our team manages regulatory relationships and provides regulatory compliance advice and support to our business stakeholders. We specialise in licensing, regulatory reviews and inspections, monitoring regulatory change, and reporting to subsidiary boards and senior leaders.

What role will you play?

You will support the Hong Kong and Singapore Regulatory Risk teams with day-to-day activities and project work, including preparing licensing applications, responding to regulatory enquiries, monitoring regulatory developments, and tracking regulatory interactions and incidents. You will be designing, implementing and managing processes that support the Regulatory Risk function. Your work supports strong regulatory outcomes and effective engagement with regulators.

What you offer

  • Experience in regulatory or risk management roles within financial services organisations or financial services regulators
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across stakeholder groups
  • An analytical and inquisitive approach, with the ability to identify issues and propose practical solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in data analysis and using technology-based or automated workflow solutions

About the Risk Management Group

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
