Join Macquarie’s Non-Financial Risk Governance team in the Risk Management Group Transformation and Operations division. This team supports the governance and effectiveness of Macquarie-wide policies and drives transformation to strengthen and streamline risk management frameworks and policies, enhancing consistency and effectiveness across our Non-Financial Risk Divisions.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will support the governance of Macquarie-wide policies and assist with the uplift of non‑financial risk policies, ensuring they are practical, easy to apply and effective in supporting teams who own and manage risk. You will work closely with policy owners, providing drafting and advisory support to help them meet their obligations, including preparing communications, reports and presentations for key stakeholders. You will support the alignment of risk expectations between frontline teams and oversight functions and assist in maintaining strong governance practices and delivering policy and framework uplifts.

  • Experience or exposure to policy development, regulatory interpretation and transformation initiatives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to translate regulatory or technical requirements into clear, practical documentation to support business understanding and decision‑making
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, supporting effective collaboration and communication
  • Proactive and reliable, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and support delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks.
