What role will you play?

The Anaplan Solution Architect will be accountable for the end-to-end solution architecture of Anaplan across Macquarie. The role defines how Anaplan should be designed, integrated, governed and scaled so that planning solutions are consistent, resilient and aligned to business outcomes. You will work across Anaplan model building squads, Enterprise Architects, Data Architects and senior Finance and Technology stakeholders to turn complex planning requirements into practical, reusable solution patterns. Your focus will be to provide architectural direction, assure design quality, uplift model builder capability and ensure Anaplan evolves as a governed group-wide capability rather than a collection of disconnected models.

What you offer

  • Certified Master Anaplanner is essential
  • 10+ years’ experience of Anaplan expertise including Polaris, Workflow and Data Orchestration.
  • Proven Solution Architect experience delivering large-scale financial, workforce or operational planning models across complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, architectural influencing and squad enablement capability.
  • Expertise in Anaplan integrations (ADO, APIs, Anaplan Connect, CloudWorks, ETL tools).
  • Strong understanding of financial planning and forecasting, ideally within financial services.
  • Experience working with Enterprise Architects, Data Architects and delivery squads to align application, data, integration and governance decisions.
