Our Macquarie Asset Management Real Assets Brazil team is seeking a highly motivated and analytically driven intern to support the team's daily activities and gain hands-on exposure to infrastructure investing, portfolio monitoring, and transaction execution. This group invests in and manages a portfolio of Brazilian infrastructure businesses across sectors such as waste management, digital infrastructure, toll-roads, ports and renewable generation.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of deal execution and asset management, contributing to live transactions and portfolio companies while developing core skills in financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will support day-to-day portfolio monitoring and transaction workstreams while working closely with senior team members and contributing to overall team objectives. You will conduct sector, regulatory, and market research across the infrastructure universe, build and maintain financial models to support valuation and investment decisions, and track the operating and financial performance of portfolio companies. Additionally, you will prepare high-quality materials for investment committee and investor reporting, maintain portfolio databases and reporting tools, and collaborate with colleagues across Macquarie's global Real Assets platform to ensure timely and effective delivery of analysis and recommendations.   • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field with a graduation date of December 2028 or later
  • Strong interest in infrastructure, real assets, and private markets
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in Portuguese and proficient in English
