Supporting the Macquarie Capital business, our Financial Planning and Analysis team is responsible for presenting on the performance of the business with key responsibilities including analysing, reviewing, and discussing information with relevant stakeholders.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will be responsible for the ownership of cost management initiatives, reporting deliverables including frameworks and overseeing the MD&A process for Macquarie Capital. You will work closely with Senior business stakeholder on cost management and reporting insights, as well as partnering with Group teams on half yearly results. In addition, you will help drive, design and deliver targeted analysis that gives meaningful insights into business performance. As a senior member of the team, you will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior team members.

What you offer

  • CA or CPA Qualified with tertiary degree in accounting, finance, or similar
  • 8+years experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within financial services or other industries with large operational and customer support services
  • A growth mindset, capability to adapt & grow within an organisation, seeking opportunities to continuously improve
  • Ideally experience in cost management initiatives and driving transformation/automation
  • An analytical ability to identify the fundamental drivers of activity/results including key metrics to measure success over time
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex financial and non-financial data into clear, actionable insights
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to present clear, actionable insights to a range of stakeholders
