What role will you play?

In this role you will support coverage of listed mining, energy and resources companies through financial modelling, company analysis and research production. You will work closely with senior analysts to analyse company performance, monitor market developments and contribute to research reports and publications. You will also collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders to support our research offering.
You will build and maintain detailed financial and valuation models, analyse company results, operational performance, commodity markets and industry trends and support the production of research reports, earnings notes and thematic publications.

What you offer

  • 4-7 years' relevant experience in investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, valuations or a similar analytical role
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation and quantitative skills
  • Advanced Excel capability and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
  • Experience covering resources, mining, energy or related sectors if preferred
  • CFA qualification (completed or in progress) is preferred
  • Experience within a large institutional financial services environment is preferred.
