Internship

As a Human Resources Intern you will work within our PeopleConnect team to provide HR operational support, acting as the first point of contract for all HR related enquiries. Over the course of the program, you will gain exposure to, and immerse yourself within:

  • Drafting HR related documents including contracts and letters
  • Understanding modern awards and how to apply them

  • Maintaining the HR database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality

  • Supporting the HR team with various projects and initiatives

  • Mirvac’s HR team provides support to over 1700 employees across PeopleConnect, Talent Acquisition, Remuneration, Learning, Belonging and Employee experience. The role will see you partner closely with the wider HR team to contribute to the delivery of the HR strategy, improve processes, compliance initiatives and ad hoc projects.

Am I eligible for the Internship program?

If you meet the following criteria, please apply:

  • Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
  • Availability to work a minimum of 2-3 days per week

  • Penultimate year of your Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Psychology, Economics, and due to complete your studies in 2026

  • Display an innate curiosity, eagerness to learn, positive can do attitude

  • Strong communication and organisational skills, high attention to detail and good time management skills

  • Collaborative nature, with the ability to form strong relationships with all stakeholders

  • Passionate about delivering customer focused quality, leaving a positive legacy in the communities in which you operate

Application Process

Applications will be reviewed across August and September. If your application is progressed, you will be asked to complete a video interview and invited to attend an Assessment Centre in October.
