Our opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Development Manager with Apartments or Built Form experience to join our Brisbane team. You will work within the team to manage and deliver projects including taking responsibility for various aspects of financial and program delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Create and manage project feasibility – single stage, multi stages, JV models and all components of financial model.
- Establish and manage budgets and cash flows accurately.
- Review and manage development programme and brief.
- Write formal business correspondences, reports and presentations; attend meetings with responsibility for minutes or chair.
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities to optimise outcomes and know when to escalate to management.
- Ability to identify all aspects of development including identifying deficiencies, standardisation, innovation, revenue time and cost to extract maximum value.
- Value management of all aspects and stages of the project.
- Possess thorough market knowledge and understanding of the market, including keeping up to date with competing developments.
- Possess thorough understanding of planning system and ability to seek and obtain Development Approvals.
Your point of difference
You will be professionally qualified with demonstrated experience delivering built-form and or apartments. You will understand the procurement, planning and tendering process and have expertise in legal, regulatory, and other industry matters, with the ability to provide recommendations for actions internally within project feasibility.
You will show good decision-making, influencing, presentation and negotiation skills, and the confidence to guide team members on technical matters, while balancing priorities to achieve win-win project outcomes.
