Our opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Development Manager to join our Commercial Mixed Use Development team at Harbourside specifically focusing on Development feasibilities and financial management of the project.
This is a unique opportunity that would suit someone from a Finance or Commercial background who is keen to work on a landmark mixed-use project to gain experience across three asset classes – residential, retail and commercial.
The primary focus of this role is to provide support and assistance to manage the financial integrity, control and reporting of the project feasibility and investor model, project budgets and project cashflows.
Your responsibilities:
- Assistance with updating and maintaining the financial integrity of the project feasibility.
- Assistance with project level budgeting and forecasting, monthly updating of feasibility actuals and working with the project teams to reforecast future cashflows.
- Assistance with income tracking and leasing deal analysis for assessment and approval.
- Assistance with tracking and forecasting project budgets including project overheads and development consultants.
- Assistance with processing Construction Claims including managing the development variation register and tracking variation approvals.
- Assistance with the calculation and invoicing of Development Management Fees to the JV monthly.
- Assistance with the preparation of Quarterly Project Reviews.
- Assistance with the preparation of PCG, IC Board and ELT papers.
- Assistance with maintaining the Development Risk Register.
- Assistance with management and reconciliation of the project budgets within the RibCX system and assistance raising budgets, budget variations, contracts and processing invoices.
- Assistance with ad-hoc analysis as required by the Project, Development business and Joint Venture partner.
- Adhere to strategies and targets as communicated by DM and SDM.
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders.

- Financial or Commercial experience in property, development, construction or planning
- Well-developed financial modelling and knowledge of Excel
