Your opportunity:

The Senior Analyst - Investment will deliver accurate, valuable and timely analysis and reporting of Mirvac Office’s portfolio to support stakeholders to make business decisions that deliver greater returns and optimised value to our Investors.

What you’ll be doing:

Portfolio Reporting

  • Deliver quarterly portfolio analysis via collation and analysis of asset-level reports including tenancy schedules, development updates, leasing reports and all other reporting analysis as required.
  • Collate and calculate all portfolio leasing data and metrics for reporting purposes.
  • Timely calculations and management of quarterly reporting submissions including reporting data, property compendium, review of collateral, inputs to financial statements and verification.
  • Contribute to messaging for reporting materials including presentations, ASX announcement and reports.
  • Complete Q&A analysis and insights for market reporting.
  • Collation, comparison and analysis of peer results.

Portfolio Analysis

  • Modelling leasing scenarios and various asset level scenarios where required.
  • Complete office development performance analysis and feasibility reviews where required.
  • Complete hold/sell analysis of portfolio as required.
  • Complete analysis for assessment of potential acquisitions and disposals where required.
  • Complete modelling of development assets and calculating feasibility metrics and returns where required.
  • Complete monthly modelling of a development asset income and let up forecasting.

Valuation

  • Oversee the internal and external bi-annual valuation process and deliver all valuation reporting including the NVU spreadsheet, 5-year valuation forecasting and ROIC.
  • Responsible for bi-annual asset valuation modelling ensuring accurate and up-to-date valuations for all assets in the portfolio.
  • Develop and recommend, with support from research, high level assumptions including forecast lease profiles and growth rates.
  • Review external valuations and reports.
  • Run valuation sensitivity scenarios where required.
  • Key contact for audit and answer all audit queries in a timely manner.

Portfolio Strategy & Strategic Asset Plans

  • Support the collation of portfolio budget data across NOI, Capex and Incentives to support decision making,
  • Ad hoc portfolio analysis to assist in strategic direction and decision making.
  • Support with creation of annual strategy pack and contribute to presentation.

What you'll bring:

  • 4-8 years experience with finance and/or analytical experience at a real estate organisation, with exposure to office preferred.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Property Economics, Business or Commerce is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated property modelling and valuations experience
  • High level of IT proficiency i.e. Microsoft Office package – advanced Excel skills and MRI IM experience is highly desirable
  • Valuation experience highly desirable
  • Commercial/financial acumen is essential
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to solve problems and resolve issues as they arise;
