Your Opportunity

This is a permanent opportunity to play a pivotal role in Mirvac’s AI & Automation platform - core to our integrated digital operating model. You’ll lead the end‑to‑end design and delivery of intelligent, agent‑oriented automation while shaping the platform roadmap and uplifting engineering standards across the business. You’ll be supported by a collaborative, high‑performing team and a manager who champions innovation, trust, and continuous growth.

Your Responsibilities

• Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand pain points, processes, and opportunities; craft and document AI and data use cases for inclusion in platform backlogs and prioritization discussions.
• Architect and lead delivery of complex, orchestrated solutions that coordinate AI models, bots, APIs, data services, and human oversight—optimising for security, scalability, and performance.
• Define and apply agentic design patterns, including confidence thresholds, escalation paths, fallback mechanisms, and recovery strategies to ensure safe and reliable automation.
• Engage in forward-deployed engagements, embedding with business teams to co-design and prototype Agentic capabilities that deliver measurable value and rapid feedback loops.
• Establish and enforce engineering, testing, and documentation standards, including consideration of AI failure modes, exception handling, and auditability.
• Design and maintain human-in-the-loop controls, ensuring appropriate levels of autonomy, transparency, and accountability in AI-enabled processes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for managed services and vendors, overseeing onboarding, delivery, ongoing management, and ensuring strong platform partnerships and vendor performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data architects, and technology partners to identify and deliver high-impact opportunities aligned with strategic platform roadmaps.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, privacy, and risk policies across all AI and Automation initiatives.

Your Point of Difference

The ideal candidate will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a closely related discipline, providing a strong theoretical foundation to support complex technical and architectural decision‑making.

You will also bring:

• 7+ years in technology roles with extensive hands-on enterprise automation experience with demonstrated technical delivery expertise (e.g. UiPath)
• 1-3 years’ experience in using and incorporating AI/ML into workflows.
• Experience with modern orchestration and agent frameworks on Azure/AWS for deploying Agentic AI solutions.
• Experience building and scaling conversational AI experiences.
• Proven ability to collaborate with and manage vendors and managed service providers effectively.
• Solid understanding of enterprise data platforms and ability to work with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake).
