Our opportunity
We have an opportunity for an Assistant Development Manager to join our Perth office and gain exposure to master planned community developments. You will provide support and assistance to management in all operational aspects, as assigned, so as to further expand and enhance knowledge of the development industry.
Your responsibilities will include and are limited to:
- Adhere to strategies and targets as communicated by DM and SDM.
- Understand feasibility and can update and report under supervision.
- Assist in the preparations of development feasibilities.
- Prepare formal correspondence and presentation.
- Prepare and update basic development programmes.
- Keep minutes and maintains files.
- Maintain current market knowledge.
- Work with other departments to achieve objectives.
- Look for opportunity to gain exposure and understandings with external stakeholder.
- Actively manage and develop own career under guidance of DM and SDM.
- Assist in the preparations of all necessary documentation.
- Undertake comprehensive project preparation, research and planning activities.
- Prepare and manage stakeholder management plan.
- Submit and manage all relevant development applications/documents.
- Assist with the annual budget process.
- Participate in Innovation and Sustainability objectives.
Your point of difference
You will be a motivated development professional with entry level experience in the property development industry and a solid foundation in commercial, legal and financial principles. You’ll bring residential property industry knowledge, sound judgment, and the confidence to influence, negotiate and present effectively.
You’ll also demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong capability across Microsoft Office and project management tools, and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment. Suitable tertiary qualifications are essential, along with a proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
