Your Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an HSE Manager - Systems & Insights to join Mirvac’s Development HSE team.

Reporting to the Director, HSE - Development, with a dotted line to the Director, HSE -Construction, this role leads the design, implementation and continuous improvement of Mirvac’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Management System across Development and Mirvac Construction operations.

You will be a key driver of HSE system excellence, digital optimisation, reporting and assurance, ensuring Mirvac’s HSE frameworks are fit‑for‑purpose, user‑centred and aligned with legislative and accreditation requirements.

The role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, with flexibility to support national operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead the design, standardisation and implementation of Mirvac’s HSE Management System across Development and Construction
• Maintain ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and Federal Safety Commission (FSC) accreditations
• Drive HSE systems governance, document control and change management
• Lead internal and external HSEMS audits and assurance activities
• Manage and optimise HSE IT platforms (including Hammertech and iSystain), partnering closely with Digital and external vendors
• Improve reporting, insights and data integrity through Power BI and HSE analytics
• Develop and support delivery of system-related training to improve user adoption
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to simplify, automate and enhance HSE processes
• Provide leadership and development for direct and indirect reports

Your Point of Difference

You are an HSE professional with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in HSE systems or safety leadership roles within construction or development environments.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Strong experience working within ISO and OFSC accredited environments is mandatory
• Human-Centered Design principles mandatory
• OFSC Accreditation protocols mandatory
• Certified Management System Lead Auditor accreditation mandatory
• Tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety (or similar)
• Lean Six Sigma – Green belt or Yellow belt, Change Management (i.e.ADKAR, Lewin or McKinsey or similar), Certificate IV Workplace Trainer and Assessor and Incident Investigation – ICAM Lead Investigator are preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of the HSE legislative frameworks across
• communicate legislative requirements in simple terms
• Solid experience with HSE systems, reporting and digital platforms
• Advanced MS Office skills and intermediate Power BI capability
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and change management skills
• Current Motor Vehicle Driver’s License
• A proactive, improvement‑focused mindset with strong attention to detail
