Our Opportunity

As our Sales Governance and Compliance Lead, you will be hold Line 1responsibility for embedding and overseeing governance and compliance across sales operations, with a primary focus on AML / KYC obligations and the operational rollout of the digital KYC platform.

It acts as the key operational link between Sales, Legal and Group Compliance, ensuring the business consistently does what it says it will do.

This is a 12‑month contract role.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

Sales Governance & Compliance Execution

  • Own day‑to‑day governance and compliance execution across sales, with a primary focus on AML / KYC obligations.
  • Act as the Line 1 compliance lead for the digital KYC platform, including manual intervention, case resolution and escalation of higher‑risk matters.
  • Manage a high‑volume caseload (up to 100 cases per week), independently conducting timely and rigorous reviews of submitted records against defined compliance criteria, exercising sound judgement on escalations, and maintaining accurate, auditable records in Salesforce.
  • Support the implementation of broader compliance requirements as required, including sales agent licensing, trust accounts, privacy and spam compliance, misrepresentation training, internal audits and staff sales compliance.

Risk Management & Escalation

  • Identify compliance risks, control gaps and improvement opportunities, and drive practical, sustainable solutions to reduce operational and regulatory risk.
  • Partner with Group Compliance and Legal on escalations, interpretation of regulatory requirements and emerging risks

Sales Enablement & Change

  • Work directly with sales managers and frontline teams to ensure consistent understanding and execution of KYC requirements.
  • Provide governance oversight to ensure sales practices align with approved policies, processes and training.
  • Lead compliance‑related change management, including training coordination, process documentation and adoption support across sales and sales operations teams.

About You

You bring 7+ years of experience in governance, compliance, risk, sales operations or a regulated operational environment.

You’ll also bring:

  • Qualification or professional accreditation in Law, Commerce, Business, Risk, Compliance, Governance or a related discipline desirable but not mandatory.
  • AML / KYC‑specific training or accreditation is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience operationalising compliance requirements within frontline or customer‑facing teams.
  • Experience managing manual, detail‑driven processes with regulatory, reputational and commercial consequences.
  • Experience supporting regulatory change, system implementations or complex process transformation is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of AML / KYC obligations is desirable but not mandatory; candidates with the right governance mindset and ability to rapidly build expertise will be considered.
  • Ability to translate regulatory and policy requirements into practical, executable sales processes.
