Your Opportunity

Are you passionate about technology? Are you keen to deliver user friendly and innovative solutions to enhance the user experience? We are seeking an AV / ICT Engineer to support multiple projects within the Built Environment strategy which has technology as a key pillar, based in Sydney.

As an AV / ICT Engineer, you will:

  • Support our Principal Consultants in delivering project designs, documentation and solutions

  • Liaise with stakeholders and develop detailed user requirements

  • Develop AV, ICT solutions and supporting technical designs to meet user requirements

  • Verify design against relevant standards and criteria

  • Provide coordination and project support to multi-disciplinary teams

  • Assist in responding to RFIs and reviewing contractor submissions during the construction phase

  • Undertake site inspections and audits, compiling reports and observations

  • Assist in the identification of new technologies and systems to provide better user outcomes

  • Support the development of strong client relationships through high quality work delivery, professionalism and collaborative nature

About You

  • Experienced in designing and delivering audio visual and mixed technology systems within the built environment

  • Have an eye for detail and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong technical, oral and written skills

  • Interest in developing their User Experience (UX) and Human Centred Design (HCD / HF) skill sets with integrated audio-visual technology systems

  • Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or Certificate 4 in a technology based discipline such as IT or similar.

  • 4-8 years expertise in AV and or ICT network design in an engineering design role

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experienced in designing and documenting systems using schematics, schedules and plans / models

  • Proficient with the following software packages and solutions:

  • Microsoft Office/365

  • REVIT / AutoCAD

  • Bluebeam Revu

  • Autodesk Construction Cloud

  • Aconex
