Mott MacDonald, a unique employee-ownership corporation, with a values-based culture (PRIDE), is seeking a Senior Specialist Digital Delivery Lead for our large projects and local team in the New York Metro area. This role will lead implementation and oversight of digital delivery strategies across multiple large projects in sectors including transportation, water, energy, buildings, and environment. This role ensures the integration of digital platforms, tools, and workflows to support efficient, collaborative, and data-driven project execution. This is a leadership role, responsible for both technical oversight of implementation on our projects as well as the growth of our local people and long-term capability. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in BIM Management, digital tools, project delivery, as well as an aptitude for team management and leadership. This position is a full-time position. The successful candidate will be in the New York Metro Area, commuting distance from Mott MacDonald’s New York Mid-town office, and be expected to maintain a regular presence in the Manhattan office or nearby client offices and project sites.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the development and execution of project Digital Delivery Strategies, aligned with project requirements, client expectations, and local and international standards.
  • Direct digital delivery staff including BIM/CAD Managers, Information Managers, and Document Control personnel to achieve project and business objectives.
  • Serve as the technical lead for Bentley Systems digital delivery solutions, leveraging extensive experience with the suite of Bentley tools to drive successful data-driven project outcomes.
  • Lead the implementation and governance of Bentley-based BIM and CAD workflows across multidisciplinary design teams and Joint Venture organizations.
  • Oversee and support Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms, including ProjectWise, Bentely Infrastructure Cloud and iTwin.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and clients to establish and maintain consistent digital delivery practices across all project participants.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Information Management Plans and project-specific digital delivery protocols.
  • Lead digital coordination meetings and provide technical leadership on Bentley model integration, clash detection, and data validation processes.
  • Champion innovation through the application of Bentley technologies, including automation, model-based design reviews, advanced data integration and digital twin readiness.
  • Deliver training, mentoring, and technical guidance to project teams on Bentley applications, workflows and digital delivery best practices.
  • Support the continued growth of digital excellence by enabling teams, removing obstacles, advancing Bentley technology adoption, delighting stakeholders, and utilizing data-driven decision-making.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with Bentley Systems software, including OpenRoads, OpenRail, MicroStation and related digital delivery applications.
  • Demonstrated expertise delivery using Bentley Common Data Environment platforms, including ProjectWise, Bentley Infrastructure Cloud and iTwin.
  • 5+ years of experience leading digital delivery, BIM, VDC or information management initiatives on large infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience implementing and managing Bentley-centered digital delivery strategies across multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.
  • Strong understanding of ISO-compliant information management, data governance, and digital workflow implementation.
  • Experience leading digital delivery efforts within Joint Venture environments and coordinating standards across multiple organizations.
  • Ability to develop and implement BIM Execution Plans, Information Management Plans, and project-specific digital delivery standards.
  • Autodesk platform experience (Forma, Revit, Civil 3D) is beneficial but secondary to demonstrated Bentley platform expertise.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence teams and drive adoption of digital delivery best practices.

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.

The expected salary for this position is $135,000 - $170,000
