The key purpose of this role is to lead HR activities within your region and across the business where required, following the HR strategy. The HRBP is responsible for managing larger projects of work, ensuring the delivery of activities by any direct reports and overall contributing to the improvement and execution of our team measures of success. This role is essential in supporting other business units to manage, develop and support their team’s daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Awareness & Acquisition
  • Contribute new ways of enhancing our employee value proposition and building our employer brand
  • Lead and identify opportunities to enhance a data-driven recruitment strategy, ensuring best practice in each region
  • Managing regional recruitment activities, including overseeing multiple active roles as well as engaging with candidates to bring them through the recruitment cycle
  • Engaging with hiring managers to coordinate interviews, utilising systems to streamline the process
  • Activation & Performance
  • Oversee onboarding & induction activities for new hires including covering compliance requirements, systems access, business & cultural inductions, equipment provision & any role-related training.
  • Work closely with business unit leads to capture and automate onboarding processes
  • Supporting the Performance Review processes including goal setting, performance evaluations and career development plans
  • Advising or coaching team leads and team managers on the best practices for managing, engaging, coaching and developing their direct reports
  • Retention & Growth
  • Work with managers to identify challenges and opportunities that impact retention
  • Lead by example as a cultural ambassador, seeking opportunities to showcase our values and holding the MyPass team to a high standard of behaviour.
  • Ensuring all employees are engaged as well as developing team activities that are aligned with MyPass standards, policies & cultural expectations
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns, ensuring fair and timely resolution following company policy and applicable laws.
  • Business Partnership
  • Provide strategic HR guidance and support to senior leadership and department managers.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand organisational goals and challenges, and develop HR solutions to address them effectively.
  • Partner with department heads to identify talent gaps and develop strategies for talent development and retention.
  • Ensure that HR practices are in alignment with industry best practices and legal requirements.
  • Process
  • Ensure disciplined management of employee related documents and files, organising them appropriately within Sprout, Employment Hero, MyPass, Google Drive or other relevant systems
  • Work closely with the Finance Team to ensure the the monthly payroll process is streamlined and any issues resolved
  • Capture internal HR processes in the handbook, to set strong foundations for others to follow
  • Actioning outcomes associated with performance reviews such as salary increases, promotions, development or performance management plans
  • Support the HR team to maintain an agile mindset, leading Scrum ceremonies where appropriate

Key Requirements

  • Ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives and develop long-term strategies to support organisational growth.
  • Proficiency in managing employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine employment laws and regulations, with the ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Skill in managing organisational change initiatives, including communication strategies, stakeholder engagement, and resistance management.
  • Capability to analyse HR metrics and trends to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives, as well as prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Proven ability to build effective partnerships with business leaders and departments, providing HR guidance and support to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Experience in developing and implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement, foster a positive workplace culture, and promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to mediate conflicts and facilitate difficult conversations between employees and managers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to all levels of the organisation.
Information Security Accountabilities
Management:
- Determine and allocate the resources required to maintain and continuously improve the ISMS
- Ensure information Security requirements are communicated and understood across all levels of the business
- Ensure business activities support the security of information
- Promote the continuous improvement of information security
- Ensure changes to the ISMS are effectively communicated to the business and stakeholders
Senior Leaders:
- Ensure direct reports receive instructions that adequately describe the responsibilities for information security related to their job role
- Ensure direct reports receive training to maintain appropriate information security skills and knowledge required for their job role
- Ensure direct reports demonstrate the information security skills and knowledge required for their job role
- Ensure induction and training focus on the most relevant information security aspects for each job role
Employees:
- Understand own contribution to the effectiveness of the ISMS
- Understand own responsibilities within the ISMS (e.g. Acceptable of Use Assets Policy, Information Security Policy)
- Understand the consequences of non-compliance with the requirements of the ISMS
- Understand information security guidelines related to own job role
